We have convinced our Steele Parents to help us build a vanity for our new bathroom, yeah! Here are pictures of wood tones we like for the stain.

Kitchen Rendering
Below are the first kitchen renderings for the new cabinets. Ignore the hardware, we are thinking knobs and rectangular bin pulls. And ignore those stools, ours will be way cuter :) Also, the uppers will go all the way to the ceiling.

More Non-Gray Grays
This is proving difficult. I need a gray that looks good with wood stained about the color if the floor tile...

Kitchen
I'm going to pick out cabinets tomorrow!!! Here is a look at what we are trying to achieve. Basically white shaker style cabinets, white subway tile back splash, chrome hardware and faucet, stainless single basin sink and appliances, ceramic 'wood' floors and black counter tops.
The kitchen is about 26 feet long with about half actually being kitchen and the other half being our new bar looking out a new window and behind it the hook wall up to six feet and the last two feet being the wallpaper up to the ceiling. The wallpaper will be the top two feet to the ceiling for the non-kitchen part of the kitchen...hopefully the drawings below makes sense...

Grays
We are moving forward and almost under contract for the renovation. I'm supposed to pick out kitchen cabinets this week and their arrival date will determine all of the other work. In the meantime I've been picking up/out finishes which I'll share room by room in another post. This post is about paint color. Who knew there were so many grays!? What do you think? We are looking for a darker gray for the master bath and a lighter gray for the master bedroom. The white tile in the pics will be in the bath, but it's really just a point if reference. The samples are painted on a tan wall.
The first one is Granite Boulder followed by Dolphin Fin, Silver Drop and Irish Mist.
